About Dr. Vicki Howell
B. Med (Newcastle) (Hons), FRACGP, Dip Paeds (UNSW, Member Australian Integrative Medicine Association, Member Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, Member Australian Association of Disability Medicine, Senior Lecturer and Clinical Tutor – School of Rural Medicine, University of New England, Accredited GP Synergy Supervisor
Dr Vicki has a number of years experience as a general practitioner. Postgraduate areas of interest completed with special skills in complex disease management, use of natural medicines, disability and geriatric community medicine. She regularly hosts, within the practice, medical students from UNE School of Rural Medicine and supervises GP registrars, hoping to inspire the next generation of young doctors to take up roles caring for rural communities. Dr Vicki is currently undertaking study in a Diploma of Practice Management and completing the Primary Care Course at the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
